In terms of commercial models for our new product development services, we offer several options:
Time and Material (T&M):
Ideal for establishing an extended software engineering team for ongoing new product development.
Fixed-Bid Model:
Suitable for projects with well-defined scopes, providing budgetary control with the right change management process. While rare in new product development, AvisCloudTech has successfully used this model for complete product components.
Hybrid Model:
Combines T&M (at the project's start) with a fixed-bid model (once the scope is finalized), offering the best of both approaches. Customers often find this a practical choice for decision-making in new product development initiatives.
Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT):
On a case-by-case basis, we offer the BOT model, where we work with the customer to determine the transfer pricing model and other commercial terms. This model allows the customer to absorb the team and, in some cases, the infrastructure after a specific duration of product development engagement.
Revenue Share Model:
In select cases, AvisCloudTech shares business risks by working on a revenue share model. We take such engagements after assessing the industry and market potential. Customers pay a percentage of costs upfront and share a percentage of future new product revenues with AvisCloudTech.
